State-of-the-art facilities at the HP Pavilion. Built in 1993 under the name of the San Jose Arena, the HP Pavilion has risen to become the site for shows and events in the South Bay Area. Home to three professional sports teams (arena football, ice hockey, and lacrosse) this arena is synonymous with sports events of all types that take place in the San Jose region. It averages an incredible 190 events each year including the SAP Open men‘s tennis tournament, the Mountain Dew Action Sports Tour, professional wrestling shows, ice skating competitions, and, of course, music performances.
